Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade.

Barb and I had a GREAT meeting today with Ryco Marine of Fort Myers!  They will provide us a Ford F250 pickup truck, and a 25 foot pontoon boat on a trailer for us for the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade!

 

The date of the parade is Saturday night, February 18, 2023.  We will Marshall at Fort Myers High School and ride in the boat, truck and walk the parade route!  Parade starts at 7 pm and goes until 10 pm. 

 

We need decorations for the boat!   I have green grass table skirts to go around the boat.  Several of you have given me inflatables as well but we need MORE!   Anything Parrot Head you can think of would be fabulous!  

 

Please let me know at susanoates63@gmail.com if you are interested in riding the float, walking the parade route (we cannot THROW items from the float, but walkers can hand out goodies so we’re looking to see how much to buy!!) or if you have any decorations (that can be returned to you after the parade!) for the pontoon.  

 

Marshalling details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the actual parade date, so stay tuned!
